For 2021-2023, the PIRSA Leadership Team will have four vacancies, President, Secretary, Student Rep and Member Engagement Committee Chair. If you are interested in standing for office please complete the application by 12:00pm on Friday, March 12th. Electronic elections will occur March 15 to April 4 with the results announced shortly there after.

Position Descriptions
President - The PIRSA President shall preside at all meetings, enforce bylaws and regulations of the association and shall carry out the will of the members. The President shall communicate all state related concerns to the Regional Member Network Representative and all regional news to the membership.
Secretary - The Secretary is responsible for communicating with the membership with regards to all events, activities and news throughout the course of the year. They should maintain minutes at PIRSA meetings and conference calls. They will be responsible for maintaining the PIRSA Directory and the website. In conjunction with the Leadership Team the secretary will be responsible for monitoring the PIRSA social media sites on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Student Representative - The Student Representative will be responsible for working with the Regional and National Student Representatives to make sure the student members are informed of all activities and opportunities within NIRSA. They will also work to share any student concerns with the PIRSA Leadership Team. They will work to maintain a PIRSA Student Directory.
Member Engagement Committee Chair - The Member Engagement Committee Chair will assist with the recruitment and communication of new and existing members within the state. They are also responsible for managing the PIRSA directory and mailing list, using social media accounts for membership recruitment and other tasks within the purview of this position.
