Position Overview
Following a recent departure from the state, the position of PIRSA Secretary is currently vacant. Per the PIRSA Constitution (Article V, Section 9), we are opening a special election to fulfill the remainder of this term.
Special Term Length: September 2026 – May 2028 (21 Months)
*Regular term cycles will resume following May 2028.
Secretary Duties
- Communicate with membership regarding events, activities, and updates
- Monitor the PIRSA email account
- Assist in coordinating the state workshop
- Maintain meeting minutes and store them on the PIRSA Google Drive
- Maintain the PIRSA Directory
- Assist in maintaining the website
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to monitor social media platforms
